Pouch Alabaster is an experimental Pearl Weave Couture design where pearls are treated not merely as decorative surface coverings, but as direct load-bearing, structural, and volumetric elements. In this model, the pearls consciously depart from classic luxury references, transforming into a sculptural mass through repetition, density, and a mathematical weaving logic.

The body of the bag is constructed by weaving equally sized white pearls together in a fully modular and seamless braided system with high-tension monofilament fishing line. The braided structure relies on the micro-voids and rhythmic arrangement of the pearls' own spherical forms, without any coating, lining, or concealing layer on the surface. This results in a textured surface that creates depth, density, and optical shimmer, rather than a single, flat surface.

The pearl weave doesn't reflect light with the classic understanding of brilliance; instead, each spherical surface refracts light at different angles, producing a soft, diffused, and porcelain-like reflection . This feature gives the bag a milky, opaque color perception that changes with movement, rather than a fixed white. The "ivory" tone, in this context, is read not as a color, but as a volumetric behavior of light.

The silhouette of the Pouch Alabaster is based on the balanced contrast between a compact rectangular mass extending horizontally in the lower section and a perfectly circular, sculptural carrying handle rising from this mass in the upper section. The handle is not added as a separate piece; it is designed as a single-piece ring, continuing the same pearl-weave system as the body. This ring's inner diameter and thickness are engineered with precision to distribute pressure during hand carrying.

The single large pearl detail positioned on the front surface is not decorative; it acts as a focal knot where the weave direction is broken and the structural center point is emphasized. This element consciously interrupts the repetitive rhythm on the surface, giving the design a central point of balance.

The model features no zippers, magnets, or metal closures. The top opening creates a naturally controlled entry thanks to the inherent rigidity and form memory of the pearl weave. This approach preserves functionality without compromising the bag's sculptural integrity.

Despite its perceived dense mass from the outside, the interior volume offers a single-compartment, balanced usable space. The internal structure is reinforced with a high-strength, transparent inner support layer that secures the pearl weave from within and maintains form stability in the long term. This layer minimizes the risk of deformation without limiting the elastic movement of the weave.
